1. Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Pay Band -1
(Rs. 5200-20200), Grade Pay: Rs. 1900 (pre-revised).
2. Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA): Pay Band -1 (Rs. 5200-20200),
Grade Pay: Rs. 2400 (pre-revised).
3. Data Entry Operator (DEO): Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200-20200), Grade Pay: Rs. 2400
(pre-revised) and
4. Data Entry Operator, Grade „A?: Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200-20200), Grade Pay: Rs.
2400 (pre-revised)
SSC CHSL 2019 Vacancies:

extant Govt. Orders.
4. The Commission makes selection of candidates in pursuant to the vacancies
reported by the concerned User Departments for various posts. The Commission
does not have any role in deciding the number of vacancies of any User
Department. Implementation of reservation policy, maintaining reservation roster
and earmarking of vacancies for different categories comes under the domain of
the User Departments.
SSC CHSL 2019 Exam Pattern
1. The examination will consist of a computer based examination which is Tier-1 exam. Descriptive paper (Tier-2) and Typing Test/Skill Test which is Tier – 3 examination for the post of data entry operator, postal assistant and sorting assistant, lower division clerk and court clerk.
2. Students will get two hours to solve the question paper and negative marking will be of one fourth per question. The written exam is based on objective type questions on the following main topics.
3. The Tier-I Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple
choice questions only. The questions will be set both in English &
Hindi for Part-II, III & IV.
Tier-I (Computer Based Examination-Objective Type):
4. There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
