Aarogya setu app is a coronavirus (Covid-19) tracking app which is launched by the Government of India on 2 April 2020. It is the first official coronavirus tracking app in the country which help you to find out if you’ve coronavirussymptoms. Aarogya Setu name came from a Sanskrit language word which means “A bridge of health”. This app is available on the both Google Play and Apple App Store.

This app is available is 11 different language. It is designed to keep a user informed in case she/he has crossed paths with someone who has Covid-19 tested positive. The tracking is done through a Bluetooth and location generated social graph, which can show your interaction with anyone who has tested positive.

As we know that the cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) in the world including India are increasing. The Government of India has already spread awareness about the COVID-19 outbreak. But Government not able to control Coronavirus cases. That’s reason Government of India launched Aarogya Setu App to find out if someone has Covid-19 Symptoms.

Aarogya Setu is a mobile app developed by the ministry of electronics and IT to help Indian citizen identify their risk of contracting the novel coronavirus. This app is launched at 2 April 2020, and still is download by more than 10 million users.

This app is basically designed to keep an user informed in case she/he has crossed path with someone who has coronavirus tested positive. The tracking is done through a Bluetooth and location generated social graph, which will show your interaction with anyone who has tested positive.

After installing Aarogya Setu app, you’ve to switch on Bluetooth and Location. Then set location sharing to always (You can change this anytime later).

It has a tool also for self-testing. The user is asked to answer a number of questions. In case some of the answers suggest Covid-19 symptoms, the information will be sent to a government server. The data will then help the government take timely steps and initiate the isolation procedure, if necessary.

This app also gives alert when someone you came in close proximity with, unknowingly, tests positive. The app alerts are accompanied by instruction on how to self-isolate and what to do in case you develop symptoms.

Step 1: First go to Google Play Store or Apple Store, search for “Aarogya Setu”, and Install the app.

Step 2: Select your language and click on next.

Step 3: Click on Register Now

Step 4: Switch on Bluetooth and Location. Set the location sharing to “Always”.

Step 5: Click on I Agree.

Step 6: Now Enter your Mobile Number and click on submit. You will receive OTP, put the OTP and click on Submit.

Step 7: Fill the personal details Gender, Name, Age, Profession, Countries travel outside in last 30 days, and then click on Submit.

Now it’s done. After complete all the procedure it will show you if you want to test your self then you can check.

Not only this, the app will also suggest preventive measures tips for coronavirus. In case, if a person is tested positive for COVID-19 or has been in contact with the person the app will share data with the government. Also, the privacy policy of the app is not to share data by third-party users.

This app will help the Government to take necessary steps for assessing the risk of spread of COVID-19 infection and ensuring isolation where required. However, now you may have come to know about the app and also how to use it.
