Michael J. Fox Reveals Retirement Decision Linked to Once Upon A Time

Michael J. Fox has revealed that a scene in Quentin Tarantino’s "Once Upon a Time".

In Hollywood triggered his decision to retire from acting in 2020.

In an interview with Empire Magazine, Fox mentioned that he could relate to Leonardo DiCaprio's character, Rick Dalton, who struggles to remember his lines.

While filming "The Good Fight." Fox had a similar experience and found himself thinking of the scene from the movie where Dalton screams at himself in the mirror.

According to Fox, there was a moment when he looked at himself in the mirror and realized that he could no longer remember his lines.

I cannot remember it anymore," he said.

Unlike the character in the movie, Fox found peace in that moment and drew strength from it.

Well, let's move on," he said. Fox has been battling Parkinson's disease since he was diagnosed with it in 1991 at the age of 29.
